Diet:  Eat healthy diet particularly rich in Vitamin A such as egg yolk and whole milk. Carrots, sweet potatoes are also good.  You can increase you intake of eggs, fruits and vegetables as they contain nutrients like Lutenin, Lycopene and Zeaxanthin that helpful to strengthen your eyesight.  Drinking Blueberry tea is also beneficial as it is rich in antioxidants that boost eyesight.  Avoid high sugar foods as they can hamper your eyesight by preventing fresh blood from reaching the eyes.

Exercise:  Simple exercises are known to be good for improving eyesight.  Face the sun with closed eyes in the mornings and evenings for a few minutes.  Focusing on a close object and then a distant object alternatively is another exercise you can do many times a day.  Palming is an exercise to rest the eyes. Just close your eyes and keep your palms gently on the eyelids for about 5 minutes. Repeat this a few times a day when you feel that you have overworked your eyes.  Deep breathing exercises in Yoga are found to be beneficial for improving and regaining eyesight.
